Found this truck locally and just wanted to give you guys a heads up. I was pretty excited when I saw this pop up because I’ve been looking for a 100 for sometime.

2007 Used LEXUS LX 470 4WD 4dr at Sullivan Motor Company Inc Serving Phoenix, Mesa, Scottsdale, AZ, IID 16903684

Starts and runs well. Dealership seemed pretty aggressive which sort of turned me off “ I personally don’t like being approached before I even park my car”

Anyway car has accident history and the salesman wouldn’t give me the car fax physically, he just gave me the information verbally while I was on the test drive. He also tried to tell me it didn’t matter if I was going to keep the truck for a long time and run it into the ground. To me I am not looking for a potential issue down the line if I try to resell it, especially at the price for a truck without an accident history.

I had them put it up on the lift and although it spent its first few years on the east coast it didn’t look like it had any rust.

Issues I found:
Needs windshield
Large dent on roof
Missing side steps
Needs tire balancing and alignment
Right front brake squeals
AHC has issues
Screen for Nav and backup is faded pretty bad

Aside from those issues I hope it fits into what someone may be looking for. The dealership is motivated and is prob negotiable.

Alas I will keep looking for a rig

I drove this dumpster fire about 2 months ago just to see what an 06-07 was like power wise. The salesman took us to the gas station as it was on empty and started pumping gas with the engine running. It had ripped seats and tons of caked on dirt underneath it. Clearly the dealership didn’t even care to clean it. Not sure if you noticed but there was a pretty significant amount of shimmy in the wheel when you hit the brakes on the freeway. My 99 did that before we got new rotors. This dealership is a place I’d never buy a car from personally. Everything is very overpriced and it took 20 minutes to even get it out of the maze of cars they have. They wanted 23 or 24k for this when I drove it. Accident history and no record of any timing belt or water pump done on it either. As a positive I did however like the power of the 06-07 a lot more than the early 100’s.

Thanks for this update. I saw this on eBay and was in contact with them. They are “aggressive“over phone and email too, but I didn’t think it was in a bad way, just good follow up. :-) Then I went on yelp and saw their reviews and asked them why everyone says they’re terrible. The communication went dark :-) I haven’t heard from them since. I did have them agree to 17.5 K verbally.

Well I’m happy to help the community in any way I can. This forum has been an awesome help , I owe it to them.
