Cool! The guy who owns the truck I posted the picture of lives on the outer road between Hooterville and Peculiar.

Be sure to come to the meeting. TAC is a great bunch of folks.

Officers & By-laws

I believe that the following positions are open:

President - Erik has indicated he interested in passing the torch now.
Secretary - I haven't spoken to Bob about his interest in continuing in this role. Bob?
Membership - Although not currently included in our by-laws (see below), this position was somewhat formally created a few years ago. I currently hold the position, but would be interested in being replaced by someone who would like to take on the challenges of keeping the club active and interesting.

Also, we are reviewing the by-laws and they need some substantial updating to reflect how our club operates, not the club they were originally based upon. If anyone would like a copy of the proposed by-laws prior to the meeting, please send an e-mail to tornadoalleycrsr at cableone dot net. In the interest of spending time talking about wheeling instead of formalities it'd be nice to answer questions or address concerns prior to the meeting.

Chris et al;

I am happy to help in a leadership role. My distance and schedule make it hard for me to participate in person, however I would be happy to try. If you need a warm body please let me know (so I can dig it up post haste).

If my participation in the forum is any indication I probably am not the ideal membership guy.

Gary

anyone excited is welcome! I just wanna hole up and finish some projects this year..

erik...is that really you...darn we have'nt seen much of you lately...how are ya doing?...projects progressing?....bring my flatnasty shirts to the meeting???...please

President and Secretary positions are open.

I am willing to continue in the secretary role if needed, but if someone else is interested in the position, please speak up. I will be heavily involved in a new project at work which will likely cut into my available time over the next 1-2 years. :frown:

While I like to hole up and to lurk more than participate - Guilt is also a motivator. Secretary might be something I could do if Bob would like a break and could show me the ropes . . . wires. . .lines. . .
