I know that I am in for CMCC. I am debating on GSMTR (due to work obligations)...I'd do the Badlands again too.
Rig is starting to be trail rated I think (Ramsey and dual battery in hopefully by the end of January)...
Sounds like a good list Karl.
One other one I would add is Surf n' Turf out in CA...I think my girlfriend and I are planning on driving out there for it in November 2006....any other takers?
I would like to go to CMCC this year. When is it this year?
I think I can make a Paragon trip in May. If we can get 3 rigs together.
Have a merry CHRISTmas everyone
I'm glad you didn't forget about Slade. The Bluegrass Cruisers would love to have some of you come down for a weekend.
We always go to GSMTR and we try to have a couple of spring trailrides to make sure all of our winter mods will hold up. Don't have any firm dates yet, but the end of April is almost a sure bet for one of them. Just let us know what your plans are and I'm sure we'll be able to get a few rigs to join you, it's only an hour from us.
Merry Christmas from this displaced Buckeye! At least I'll be in Chillicothe Christmas Day!
Could one of you spell out and give the location to the trails that your talking about. Sorry I'm new at this. I live in Columbus and hope to join you for some of these trail rides. I have a 60 I hope to have ready by spring.

I'm up for that as soon as my truck runs. We used to do a bunch of one or two day rides in southern &/or eastern OH.
But then I broke or sold all my junk and haven't been able to organize/lead rides for a couple years.
There is some fun stuff in hocking/vinton county and also out in Belmont county.
Whats up with the Ohio power/AEP land. Is it ever going to open again???
Not likely. They are trying to propagate a green corporate image for their giant coal scar, so we are a public relations liability.
OTOH, the 4-wheeling was never that great anyway. We just thought it was 'cause we didn't know much.
Now that we've been to Tellico and New Hampshire and Windrock and Badlands and Paragon and Natural Bridge...
I'd be up for one day trips to Southern/Eastern Ohio. My truck will be ready enough for a trail ride in April, but I must admit, I enjoyed the drier trail rides typically seen in July and August.
How does Slade sound for the first weekend in August? It will be extemely hot, I'm sure, but will probably be dry.
I'll have to make sure that it won't conflict with a production weekend for Toyota, but let's tentatively plan on August 5-6 if that sounds good for you guys.
FWIW, There is a day trip to Silver Lake Sand Dunes in Mears, MI. On beautiful Lake Michigan. Gotta buy a MI state park Stamp and ORV sticker. but its pretty nice. Not too many cruisers there ever. Well are there too many cruisers anywhere??
They have camping there and the like.
I would find a link or something but I suck at the internet.
Karl, it's only about an hour drive from Lexington, so we usually just make a day trip out of it. I'm sure there will be some people from us who will want to camp if you guys come down, though.
When Rice on the Rocks came down last year with some other clubs, they stayed at the campground on the right (south) side of Route 11. That's a good campground, but they do enforce noise restrictions at night, so there can't be any late night parties. ROR had some problems last year with this, but nobody was kicked out.
I don't think that reservations are accepted, it's first come, first serve. I'll find out from Jennifer Lorincz about it and let you know. It might be easier to get a campsite in late August after school has started.
