2006 steering tilt motor. New motor still doesn’t work (1 Viewer)

Hi all

Trying to figure out my steering wheel motors. Here’s the situation:

Tilt motor didn’t work at all. I just replaced it with a brand new one and it still doesn’t work.

Up until I messed with it, the telescope motor worked, but doesn’t automatically come out to you when you get in. However it did automatically retract when you turn the car off.

However, now that I’ve been messing with the tilt motor, the telescope stopped working all together.

Any ideas? The 30A fuse on the passenger side is fine. I even tested it with a new one.

I have a mew telescope motor but it seems there is a different issue. Do the switches go bad?

There’s a thread on here about replacing the switch. They can go bad as well.

Scratch that. Battery was just dead lol. Feel free to delete this. New motor works
