Up for sale my 2006 Lexus LX470. 100751 miles (not Km) Excellent condition. Originally imported from the US in 2006. Might be slightly higher because I drive it daily.
I am located in Delta Ontario, about 40 minutes north of Kingston.
(SOLD)
My asking price is firm, so please don't ask for my 'best price'.
I am not looking for trades or long discussions that lead to nothing so I am going to put a lot of energy and time in my description of my rig. Please read it all before contacting me.
I have a clean CarProof Verified vehicle history report available. I also have PDF's of all the service after purchasing it, totalling more then $9500.
I can email the invoices and CarProof to you if you want.
I am an avid car enthusiast and have specifically chosen the LX470 to be my primary vehicle for the last 3 years. Now it is time to move on and to downsize my collection. I have 5 vehicles in total, all but one from the Toyota family.
The vehicle has received a major overhaul last winter when the 90k service was due. Not only was the timing belt replaced, but also all related items, including the water-pump. It was fine, but as you know, replacing a T belt is a big operation so it makes sense to replace it with a new one when it’s opened up.
They also replaced the left exhaust manifold, which had a small hairline crack. I could hear a slight ticking noise when cold which is -as you know- a common problem with the 4.7L V8.
Brakes have been done a couple of months ago with new rotors and callipers and pads. Some A/C lines were also replaced and the system was topped up.
My LX is currently at a transmission shop for diagnosing and fixing a whining sound of the transfer case when it it freezing cold outside. I am discussing it here.
People say it is something I should worry about, but I cannot sell my vehicle without fixing this. I would not be right. If repair prove to be expensive I might have to reconsider my asking price.
Service is up to date, it has received new fluids this month (including differentials and transfer case) and has been e-tested (because my license renewal was due). The transfer case will be fixed at the end of the week.
The vehicle has been Krowned last year (rust prevention coating)
AHC is working fine, I have replaced the fluid and one sensor when I bought the vehicle and have a couple of spare sensors in the basement.
I have made a couple of upgrades that are worth mentioning.
My LX has the latest update for the factory touch screen navigation.
I have also purchased an extra master key (remote) and it is programmed to match the vehicle. And I have a new set of instruction manuals.
The front side windows are tinted to match the rear section and I have installed an interior led light kit.
It also comes with a grey Weathertech rubber mats.
It is currently sitting on Michelins LTX A-T2 275/65 (18 inch) with TPMS sensors on all 5 aluminum wheels. They are excellent all weather tires and have lots of thread left.
I have never taken it off road, it has been used as a regular family vehicle.
My LX is not been in an accident, no damage whatsoever. I have deleted the rear spoiler and roof rack (I prefer a clean look). These parts can easily be installed again if you wish. I have also the two original rear seats stored the basement. They have not been used. All these parts naturally are in excellent shape and come with the vehicle. The interior is clean and fresh. We are non smokers.
Although it has been my daily transport, I had purchased the Lexus to be mostly used as a long trip (holiday) vehicle. It has totally up to that task, but I have only driven it 10k miles last year.
Like I said, I am downsizing my collection of vehicles.
It needs nothing and is ready to provide you years of trouble free transportation.
Feel free to contact me if you like to know more or would like to make an appointment to see and experience my LX470.
I have an extensive collection of pictures here.
