So, an old lady desided that a red light didn't mean stop, and ran square into the rear tire of my Subaru. Neither of us were going all that fast, but the top of the rear wheel is pushed up and into the wheelwell. it makes a terrible gear whine when moving even at very low speeds. I had it towed to a body shop, who took it to their mechanic. The mechain said it only looks like a bent wheel and strut, and that he woudl change those and try to get an alignment.
I'm not really happy with that solution, I don't want one new strut, and one old one on the back. It's all going through insurance, as the old lady is at fault. How do I get this fixed correctly?
Thanks, Kevin
