Supporting Vendor
the time has come to get this set up. this will be the 5th anual and it's promising to be the biggest yet.
looks like the event will be held at deer valley in northern CA, just south of lake tahoe. great pl;ace to camp, fish and wheel. the trails are mild so everybody can enjoy taking their rig out for a spin. there are a few more difficult trails up there as well.
originally i was thinking about holding the event earlier than usual to avoid any possible fire restrictions, but i think we'll stay with the same schedule as always; my birthday! that means it's be labor day weekend, sept 2nd thru the 4th.
the elevation at the base camp, blue lakes, is roughly 7500 feet so bring some warm clothes just in case.
besides that, bring yourself, a cruiser, your camping gear and get ready to have a good time and a relaxing weekend. bringing your better half and kid(s) is more than welcome; this is a family event afterall.
there is no admission as usual, but raffle prizes will be much appreciated. i will be hitting up a lot of vendors to support the raffle as well to make sure that everybody walks away with at least one raffle prize. last year (just like the rest), most attendees won at least 2 prizes, some even three or more.
i will post more info as the event gets closer. if you have any questions, please ask. if you want to attend, please do so. it is not a requirement that you bring an fj45 to the event, but showing up in a cruiser is a definete plus.
see you guys up there!!!
PS: this year i'll actually be bringing a 45 again!
