2006 Calendar

We are considering "producing" a TAC specific calendar. Should be as simple as receiving photos, sending them to webphoto, shutterfly, walmart, or the likes, and having the calendar assembled.

Anyone interested in leading the charge?

I can provide photo's of TAC stuff. It would be good to have whoever assembles the photo's to get em to Rob so he can also put up an album section on the website when we're done..

YOu artist types jump up to the front of the line! Otherwise you'll have Chris and I picking out photo's and that could be bad!

I just picked up my 35mm stuff from KS Krawl...need to get it scanned and uploaded on the forum.

I'd buy a TAC calendar. I'd also buy one of the new TAC 3" decals (hint) and TAC window banner decal (hint).

We'll need a higher resolution picture for the calendar than a scanned 35mm. It's always bad to take an image larger than it is to scale it down.

That said, we'll give it a try if you have one you think will work.

could do a collage type of thing per page for the lower resolution pictures.. See this is why we need an artist type person..

looks like significant discounts for 50 calenders.. If your interested in a calender speak up in this thread so we can get a possible headcount..
Also, we have TAC shirts sitting in my living room. I'd rather wait for an event to give out.

I have photos put on disc at Walmart. Can't even look at em on the home pc. Course it won't get on-line either...

I'll mention this to Elizabeth, she loves photography and might really enjoy a project like this. One of the things she's working with right now is transferring images on to ceramic and stone tiles for coasters and such. I was thinking the new logo and some other shots could make for a cool set of coasters.

Elizabeth said she would be interested in working on this. She's got a good eye for photos and has Elements, so she can do some work with the lower res phtos.

That would be great! Now we need to start gathering up pictures. Gary - once Elizabeth determines what she can do as far as captioning and what file types/sizes she wants, please let us know so we can send her our favorites.

Any type of file should be good. I don't think size will be much of an issue, a guy I talked to at a print shop said that scans should work. You can either get them to me through email or I could pick up discs at Tuttle or you could mail a disc with copies. Whatever works for you guys.
