Hello,
Selling my 2005 LX-470 with 110k miles. It was a Las Vegas car all its life until I brought it to Los Angeles. I bought it fall 2017 and have put 11,000 miles on it.
It drives perfectly and has been babied all its life. It was always serviced at the same Las Vegas Lexus dealer until I purchased it at 98k miles. I have since been servicing it at Lextech in Highland Park.
The car was a flagship fully-loaded model. It has every option including Night View––the infra-red night vision system that projects onto the windshield. Ground lighting / light up running board to light up the ground when you get out of the car. Everything.
It’s had every service on time including the timing belt, etc at 86k. Originally driven by a high-ranking Lexus executive for a very short period, then celebrity owned from my understanding, then owned for 10 years by a friend of the guy I bought it from.
I've taken it on a few camping trips since 98k but no serious overlanding. I got a 2020 Tacoma TRD Off-road and don't need it anymore. (Though this drives about 3x better than the Tacoma!!)
The interior condition is great. If you shampooed the floor mats they’d be pristine. The carpet has always been covered and is not stained. It has a nice tint––it looks darker in back because I have the mesh (camping) shades in. Those come with it. Jump seats are in perfect condition like just about everything else (in storage in my basement). Even has the bluetooth headphones (2 pairs).
Exterior condition is great as well, no dents. All glass is original. Some very minor light scratches and a rub mark on the front and back bumper corner. All could be basically buffed out I believe.
It comes with an awesome sleeper platform that you can swap in and out. Fits a queen size air mattress above.
In addition to all the expected maintenance performed at the dealer, I had Lextech perform the proactive AHC flush/fill at 99k.
I’m asking $22,500 firm.
Reasons I’m not asking more:
-I can’t find the second key.
-It needs new tires soon. I didn’t change them because I knew I was going to sell it and thought it should be buyer’s choice about how aggressive to go.
