Beautiful truck. I don't know why these LR's aren't selling:confused:. This one is done very tastefully, yet sits. Many more on the market similar ,mileage and you are priced in between them. If this was an LC, the price would be double. Best of luck with sale...and if I had the extra $, the :princess: already told me she wants this one as her grocery getter:cheers:

I know. Trucks like these temp me all day. $11k buys you a bone stock 100-series with twice the mileage and 3 years older. Disco-II is what one of my favorites of all time. Would love to import a TD7 from UK!

Problems

Dont these have serious issues with the head gaskets blowing????

Head gaskets and the 2003 year had a terrible issue with oil pump failures, not sure if they sorted that out, but this is basically the same engine Buick threw away in the 40s or 50s and Rover has used it ever since, lucky to get 100k out of one before major service is needed

bummer...

If these only ran as well as they looked. I love this body style so much... we all know the issues or have friends who break the bank on the repairs...

Serious

22k? for 11k Id have a 300tdi in it and everyone would want it.

Serioulsy 11k worth of work? Come on.

Only 03s were affected by the oil pump issue. 2004s are the pinnacle year of Disco IIs.

They have a lot of design quirks that cause things to break but most of them can be modded away. It just takes lots of $. And it looks like this one has already had all that work done. Best of luck with the sale.

Kinda ironic that there are continuing discussions about this Land Rover being worth $11,000 while a similar model Defender 90/110 would be worth a ga-zillion dollars.:)
