Just traded in my LX450 for a 2004 4runner.

I'd like to lift it about 1 or 2 inches. Any thoughts or recommendations?

What suspension do you have on your 4Runner Standard or XREAS Suspension? The XREAS limits your options unless you cut it out.

I'm not sure a how do I find out? I'm new to 4runners.

The shocks have what looks like a breakhose coming out of them. All four shocks are linked together with XREAS.

I just ordered a complete suspension for my 2000 Tacoma by Old Man Emu. Pretty good reviews. Will be installing it next week and will report back. Kurt at Cruiser Outfitters can answer any question about what's best for your 2004 Runner.

I've got an 04 SR5 T4R. I believe the XREAS suspension only came on the Sport and Limited models. You'd have a ride adjust switch on the center console (I think).

this is my brother's 03 4Runner with Toytec's coilover kit.

The SR5 does not have the XREAS. For suspension mods, I recommend checking ToyTec Lifts website to see what products they offer. Also check the toyota120.com and t4r.org forums.

Thanks everyone. I'll check with Cruiser Outfitters. Toytec website has some nice stuff too!
