So my friend has a 2003 Corolla, and somehow the battery got a TON of corrosion on it.
One of her friends replaced the battery and got a new contact for the wires, but botched the job so my friend and i looked at it the other day.
We redid the connections but found that under the insulation the wire that goes to the started had corrosion for god knows how far down the line.
This morning she apparently wasn't able to start it :/
So, my question is should we change that entire wire and would that help?
Also, the new battery isn't OEM, but is 'equivalent'
