Does anyone have a write up on how to replace the nav unit in the 01-02 LX470? Or just a little direction on how to remove the dash molding around the screened part of the unit?

I've had to pull the dash out of my 2002 LC with nav a few times and IIRC, all you have to do is pull gently. It's held into place with snaps; no screws that I can recall. Just take a flat head screwdriver and start prying GENTLY. One you pop out one of the snaps, you should be able to pull out the rest of the dash surround. Don't pull too far as their are wires connected to the buttons that have to be disconnected in order to remove the dash altogether.

Yea the screen went black, the touch part still works. So either I'm getting the nav unit from the wrecked 01 on here or he's buying my truck so I figured I'd start this thread so either of us could figure out how to do it when the time comes.
