"interior is 9 out of 10 (nothing functional)"

Everything functional?

Those wagons are such nice cars!

Kaderabek is right, it could read that nothing in the interior functions to some people, people with learning disabilities,... or engineers. :)

Master of the obvious -- bump b/c I own and like Audi's.... :D

What if something didn't work after the buyer took it home? Complain and be told, dude -- check it -- I said nothing worked!

I love these, but have they come out with a functional airbag suspension delete for them without too much mod? Coilovers or hydros would not only eliminate the problematic airbags, but also improve the ride.

Bump to ya.

People run coilovers if the air set-up is not to their liking.

Those of us with VAG-COM do what is called the 402 mod, and you can lower the car by tricking the computer to think the fender is really 402mm above the center of the rim, when it actually is lower... this improves handling and with sway bars, it becomes a very responsive piece.

I don't think people know how fast these cars are stock... they are not drag cars, but they pull hard in the real world...

We just got a V70R to replace it as my wife's DD... and it may very well be the ultimate sleeper.

I agree that my wording may be tricking you guys... but 9 out of 10 usually means pretty good... (nothing functional) may just be another term for you like of comedic skill.

The above should read... but my typo has added further ridiculousness to this thread.

I presume you mean "lack of" -- sorry I tried to help and good luck with the sale.

Yep, this is the S4 motor in the wagon....Yeaoow!
Add the Stage 3....Yipppppppeeeeeee!

I got under my friend's S4 to replace the clutch and installed the LW flywheels and dual stage clutch. What a pain in the arse with the quattro system. I will *NEVER* get under that car again...
The irony is that I thought that getting to the clutch and moving the quattro (front) axles out of the way was going to be problematic...nope...the downpipes...those motherf***ing downpipes!!!

Good luck with the sale. Personally, I would go with the manual on these puppies for the speed, but still a very nice and wicked fast car.

Manuals are hard to find... but they are much faster.

A buddy of mine has an S4 with the same V6 twin turbo. I was very impressed with it, virtually no turbo lag, thing pulls like a freight train. The downside is the thing is a nightmare to work on.

agreed... an extended warranty is a must, and a good independent euro mechanic.
