Hello all... I'm a newbie here... looks like a great forum for LC owners. Last year I bought my first Land Cruiser after years of wanting one a 2001 100 series and love the truck. Now it's time for brakes... looks like I will need at least 1 new front rotor, my question is, do the rotors just slide off or do I need to pull the hubs? any other tricks for the brakes on this year LC? thanks for the help.

Welcome to MUD and 100 Series Land Cruisers!

I haven't had the fronts off, but the rear rotors are simply held on by the wheels. Remove the wheels, remove the calipers (no need to disconnect lines), and the rotors slide right off. I think the front is the same story....

Whoa, I was well off! The front is a whole different story then the rear. Good to know. One day in the near future I will need new front/rear rotors.
