I can't find anything using the search so apologize for two tough questions in the same day. My new to me 2001 LC doesn't have any working dash lights except for the warning lights across the bottom and the gear indicator up the middle. Instrument cluster and radio controls/etc are all out.

Turn the dimmer dial up next to the steering wheel.

^ What he said - easiest things first.

If that doesn't work... I once pulled my instrument cluster (forget why) and when I put it all back together I found not all the lights worked. It seems one of the connectors wasn't properly seated. Might try to remove and reinstall and see if things improve.

Yep the dimmer dial was my first guess too. Guess I'll have to pull the dash. Previous owner did lots of custom "wiring" to add things so it's likely he knocked something loose I'm afraid.

As suspected previous owner was probably at fault. Around the mirror adjustment he had 3 or 4 custom toggle switches/dials/indicator lights. When he/she pulled all of their custom stuff out apparently he /she took the dash apart and just cut out their custom wiring instead of pulling it all out the right way. Cleaned up a bunch of that mess too tonight. But on a good night when I removed the trim/dash piece that had the dimmer in it lo and behold he/she didn't plug the wiring back into the dimmer switch. Plugged it back in and WOOHOO dash lights!!!! Definitely won that round I think. Mechanic quoted me $350 to fix it. Glad I took a little time to run that down.
