2001 Evaporater Drain Line Location???

• I have the leak under the glove box on evaporater. Read several threads to try and blow compressed air in drain line coming out of the firewall but I can't find the line. I have been scouring around under the truck several times today and can't locate it. Hope someone out there can point it out to me......Thanks!

Use the search term "plugged drain" and you'll get lots of location info. On my '04, the drain hose is in the engine compartment, low on the PS firewall. A shot of air cleaned it right out.

Look right above the PS sway bar mount that is welded to the frame.

You'll most likely need to pull the evaporator coil cover off and apply fresh FIPG/liquid gasket to it too.

Found it! Just like my wife tells me....look past your nose. Blew air into the drain line and opened up the evaporater core and blew that out. Ran AC on high around town today and so far no leaks. Cleaned out the sunroof drains as well.
