Ive got an OME 890 and heavy shock set-up in the rear. The shocks are a little stiff for me and I am curious what crosses over for the rear of the 4runner with 3" of lift? I believe I am seeing FZJ80 shocks, but not sure from what years.

Or is there something else? I want to be able to hit up the local auto parts store rather than buy online.

Monroe has a PDF online that you could cross reference compressed/extended lengths as well as means of attachment. I used T100s on my Taco with about a 2" rear lift.

I have the skyjacker soft ride shocks on the rear of my 3rd gen with 3-4" of lift. You can get them cheap through their scratch and dent ebay store if you keep an eye out. They ride excellent.

If the Monroes don't pan out, they were fairly cheap. Most parts houses can order Bilstein and have them in a day or two. Advance Auto has been good to me when I ordered the good balljoints they didn't stock. Order early AM, have it the next afternoon.
