Posted this on the IH8mud general forum but would really like to get some input from Kansas locals.

So I've only had my Land Cruiser for a few months I'm looking to do something different. I'm having a hard time finding anything close to it within 500 miles of Kansas City to even compare it to. Below is what I was able to pull from KBB and NADA and the figures are all over the place.

It was a 1 owner purchased from an Infiniti dealership about 5 months ago with just over 103k miles on it, white, DVD, and remote start. Overall it is in great condition with a clean carfax and a few maintenance items recently taken care of including new serpentine belt, sway bar bushings, and front wheel bearings repacked. Timing belt was replaced by the previous owner at around 60k miles. Interior is in really good shape with minimal staining and no tears in any of the leather and in fact shows very little sign of wear.

KBB Private party- $16.2 in Excellent to $14.1 in fair
KBB Trade is $13.6 in very good and $13.1 in good

NADA – Clean trade in of $12,625 and $15,675 retail

Any suggestions in regards to what I should expect to get out of it would be greatly appreciated. A to some pictures included below.

Trade you for my 80 series lol. Jk. You can probably get a decent amount of money for it. I know land cruisers are a favorite for soccer moms in south overland park but they have no clue about the longevity of land cruisers and to them it will be too many miles. On the other hand its still a land cruiser so I would say at like 15k you could probably generate some interest

For a 2000 with 103K miles, you can expect the 11K-13K range. 14+ is high for a 2000, based on my research and in my opinion. My 2001 stock with 140K in great shape was less than 13K.

Though, i would be extremely weary of buying a car from someone who only put 500 miles on it before wanting to sell it. Regardless of why, to me that is a red flag.

(Not a Kansas local but just thought i'd offer some advice from a fellow 100 owner)

Thanks for the reply... Layton, It has just over 103k now, I bought it at 100k but definitely hear what you are saying about being skeptical.

Just put it out there. if anyone is looking for a 2000 Land Cruiser would know what it is. The OP comment is very true they buy them rack up the milage and guys like us pick them up. I would say 12-13k would be a very appropriate price based on your info, for a quick sale. GLWS

ps why are you selling it? seems to be a good low milage driver?

Ah, my apologies, i looked back to the first post and saw the 500 miles and thought that was how many you put on it, not 3K.

Hoedodger, still not sure I'm going to sell but made the mistake of looking at something in the 08-09 range :) I would like to get into the mid $14's but not sure how realistic that is. May just put it out there and see what get. No harm in that huh?

Yeah man your best bet. Put 14,500 on it and wait it out. if you cant sell it for that keep driving it in the mean-time. I always assume someone out there is looking for whatever I'm selling and I'll wait till that right buyer comes along. (You'll get a lot of low ballin', tire kickin' sob's.)<I have been one of these sob's dont get me wrong...:D
