Unfortunately, the time has come for me to sell my 2000 Toyota 4Runner SR5 4WD With ~149,500K Miles. My job requires me to have more of a daily driver than this machine, and I've only had 1 chance to put it to use this summer. It has been meticulously maintained and modified. It is in perfect mechanical condition and I still love to take it out and drive it around. Drives flawlessly. I had lifetime alignments on it so it never was out of alignment and always got even wear on the tires. This is a turn-key offroad rig.
Muffler was replaced immediately with Magnaflow Muffler. Timing belt/ Water Pump, fuel filter was done around 95K.
In the last 40K:
spark plugs (Denso Iridium Ik22 - 2 Step cooler)
OEM wires
tps
maf
Denso oxygen sensors (<100 Miles)
catalytic converter
rear axle seals
front wheel bearings
upper and lower ball joints
upper and lower a-arm bushings
master cylinder
u-joints
I'm sure im forgetting more things. Most maintenance was done by Stevinson Toyota.
Oil changes every 4-5K full synthetic since day one. Currently running mobil1 extended performance.
The paint is in decent condition, for a trail rig, just the usual pinstriping and scratches/ dents on the rear bumper. I originally planned on getting an offroad bumper but never got around to it. The passenger front fender has a couple dents in it but you can barely notice them. The interior is in good shape, just 1 tear in the carpet in driver footwell, and one on the back of the passenger seat. It could use a good shampooing and thats about it.
