2000 LX470 non Nakamichi Speakers Questions

I just finished up the mechanical phases on my LX overhaul and am moving to fun stuff now.

Ive been researching old threads and TLC Stereo FAQ but I still have a couple gaps in my knowledge.

Front door speaker Questions

They are listed in the FAQ as 6.5 mids and a set of tweeters. I do not however see an Ohm called out anywhere. I see references to the ML ones having non standard ohm but nothing mentioned for the Nak system.

I see mention of it needing to be shallow not to hit the windows. Are people using specific shallow speakers or creating spacers?

Are people hunting mids specifically or just using standard 2 ways?

Rear Door Speaker Questions

I do not see mention anywhere of needing shallow mounts but it would stand to reason that this still applies.

Same question as above regarding ohms

Sub Question

I see most people are using the Audio pipe, but i cant seem to find what the Ohm rating is for the factory sub in case i want to try something different.

I wished that I could help you but, mine was a ML system in a 2001 LX. I have all the old Toyota OEM stuff on the floor, if you need any pictures of what I have?

How about the front doors, did you need shallow mount speakers or did you just use standard speakers with spacers?

I used some real deep Focal K2 165KRX3 and custom sized spacers. They are as deep as you can physically fit in the front doors and keep the OEM grilles.

Any recollection of how deep they were or the spacer thickness?
