My auto fold in mirrors are moving kinda slow I wanted to access the gears or motor and maybe lubericate it to prolong life? Any suggestions? or easy way to access those items thanks.

ahh yes this might help tho i have a tendency of breaking fragile things this procedure looks right up my ally to break lol sigh... one of these days I will see what i can do i suppose. Thank you very much for the link. ;)

Actually I just looked it seems the year difference since mine is 2000 is not taken apart like this... I see 3 screws from the outside of the mirror on the bottom .. how would I go about getting that same info but for my year? Hopefully its easier haha lol

Also if needed can someone provide the part numbers for the mirror motors. from a website I came up with this but i am not sure if that's correct. Thanks

anyone? ;)

I suffered from slow and clunky dipping mirror syndrome, fixed with a squirt of penetrating oil via application tube up behind the lens. Turns out one was being obstructed by a mud wasp condo. Note: mud wasps do not appreciate nor enjoy penetrating oil baths. Maybe a drop or two of machine oil around the mirror folding bezel will free things?

Ok but the key part that is missing is did you aimlessly just spray behind the mirror? Because the thing is I do not know how to get access to that area would those 3 screws at the bottom that hold on the backing? I have not tried yet but if anyone knows or has instructions let me know thanks ;) Pictures would be GREAT!

Thanks in advance!

Take the glass mirror out – see in the above manual how to take it out safe - and lubricate that way.
I changed my mirrors from manual to folding and the 3 screws was really difficult for me to take out - the aluminium was oxidized, so I broke 2 of the screws :-(
