Not Albuquerque, but close. Last year I had my 2018 windshield replaced at Toyota of Santa Fe. They were $400 above what my insurance would cover but everything (seals, trim, calbration) were all done correctly. No leaks, very satisfied. I've used Safelite and SpeedyGlass in the past and have always regretted the decision. Sloppy installation, broken trim, leaks. I swear their business model includes frustrating customers into giving up.Can anyone recommend a quality place for 200-series windshield job in ABQ? Thanks!
Thanks! What did it run you? I found out that some had success with Auto Glass Now, formerly Horizon Auto Glass. Called them and they claimed they have experience with Land Cruisers. Quoted me almost $1200 for OEM glass with OEM top and around seal. I guess they assume/know they can reuse the side trim. Labor alone is $225 if I provide my parts. Not Albuquerque, but close. Not touching insurance, it will end up costing me even more in the long run.
Toyota of Santa Fe was $1400.
Expected. Most likely they outsource the job, too? I think this is rare for dealers to do glass work in-house.
