Ah, ok. This makes me feel better… I’m over here cussing over nothing. Well, it won’t be nothing if I miss these sale lol@Artie the system has been down for several days at world Toyota. I called yesterday and the online parts manager stated they are aware and working on resolving.
I can’t even get that stuff to show up anymore… what part number are you using? Same goes for the gl5 diff oil… you have a working part number for it??I wanted/needed transfer case oil 75 w. $130 without discounts for one can. Retail price and could not provide any discounts so I passed. Their online parts has been down since the start of the sale.
Part number has changed to 08885-01806 for 75w transfer case oil. It does not show up in the Toyota system.I can’t even get that stuff to show up anymore… what part number are you using? Same goes for the gl5 diff oil… you have a working part number for it??
Thanks for the updated number, the guy at the parts desk was cagey about it when I was there last and suggested I buy a different type that they sell through their dealer… I passed.Part number has changed to 08885-01806 for 75w transfer case oil. It does not show up in the Toyota system.
I used Mobil one for differentials about six years ago and after 84k miles. It was fine. This time I used valvoline.
I’ve had Eric help me in the past. I made a massive fluid order last year and I may be to blame as to why they stopped shipping that stuff… it was 4 or 5 different orders to qualify for the free shipping. LOTS of fluids…gallons of coolant, gear oil, brake fluid, trans fluid… gallons of each of these. It was gluttony in the truest sense of the word.I am also all about oem. I purchased brake fluid and use the power steering fluid from Toyota. Purchased at the last sale.
I would call Eric at sierra Toyota and ask him or email him. He is very responsive and and problem solves quickly.
Glad I could help!Your fluid orderwas epic. I remember the photos and spreadsheet. Used your spreadsheet for part numbers for the gaskets.
I have had good success with Marietta Toyota, Sandy springs Toyota and world Toyota for local pickups. In the old days, south Atlanta Toyota.
Except when their system is down. They stated that they will not get reimbursed from Toyota for the additional discounts.
I’ve never tried Olathe, I’ll have to take a look.I had a rough time using Serra Toyota's parts web site for a rather simple $150 order. I kept getting something like "no fitment" for my '17, despite having entered the VIN. So I gave up and ordered from Olathe Toyota which is not participating but had it's usual super easy to use web site. Cost me some shipping (parts prices were about the same, with discounts), but saved me some aggravation.
So the site is back up and working?Picked up a PT206-60200-02 HE 3rd row delete floor mat for $45! Not bad!
