G'day to all, I am new to this forum thing so please give me a little slack.
I have a 95 short wheel base pajero, with the 3L petrol V6
As I'm sure you will agree, it is a piece of ****. However I believe this is only thank to the engine and gearbox, as well as the independent front end.
The 2UZ-FE V8 soon caught my attention and i would love nothing more than to do a conversion.
From the research that i have already conducted i have found that the H151FTransmission with the HF1A Transfer case should bolt directly to the V8. Should this become a reality i would convert to a land cruiser solid front end as well.
I've found that the engine will not like the manual box unless an aftermarket ECU is installed. (would most probably end up with the older cable throttle 2UZ-FE)
If someone could please confirm this information for me, or has any recommendations on other paths to take it would be greatly appreciated.
