#1 is a Garret Airesearch from a Volvo 740. It has a Factory Remanufactured tag on it and is in great shape. T3 flange With oil return line, oil and water cooled. - *SOLD*

#2 is a similar sized Garret turbo form a Saab 900. It also is in good condition and comes with the cast inlet pipe that is needed to use this turbo. -$125

These were both destined for 3B's and are a perfect size for that engine.

TURBO NEEDED for a NOVICE

Hey there,

First in line if you don't mind . . .I live in Vancouver area and I want one of the turbos! Let's see, could you tell me which one would work best with the 13BT manifold that I'm buying from EBI? Also, I am concerned with height (hood triming) and compatibility with the other components.

Regards,

Justin

I may be interested too... Which would be better for a 2B engine? Thanks!

Wiring? Just the backlight on your boost gauge. There is a TON of info in the diesel section on homebrew turbos- and with these same units. It's been done many times.

Well, one of them is spoken for and it looks like it's gonna be the one from the Volvo. The unit from the Saab is very similar in spec and would work just as well.

Volvo turbo is gone. Still have the Garret from the Saab.
