A couple of interesting things.
The radio is reminiscent of the Sony Walkman. Frequencies span the 70 - 90 mhz range, so the only stations you’ll pick up in the US are at the upper end of that. It does work (you’ll need a pair of headphones with an auxiliary jack), but the sound isn't exactly Dolby 5.1. Requires 3 AAA batteries.
Then there's the Toyota microphone. Vintage Toyota-branded boom boxes exist, and my guess this would have been an accessory for one of those boxes. I don't have anything to plug into for testing, so I couldn't tell you if it works or not.
