Hey Everyone,
We are pulling two Toyota 2J engines in the next week out of our research boat here in NC to modernize the AC and hydraulic systems. Engines are low hours and were basically brand new from forklifts that the operator didn't like the diesel fumes so replaced with propane engines. They are water cooled but we bought the boat this summer in Lake Michigan (fresh water) were the main only had 150hrs so guessing these engines have about the same or slightly more. Some basic specs:
- 4 cyl water cooled
- 24 V
- 50 HP at 2500 RPM
Would love to see these guys swapped into a cruiser. Not trying to ship these or do much other than meet someone to come pick up. We are located in Morehead City, NC. Anyway, thought I'd see if there was any interest out there and we can talk about price and logistics, etc. Us doing less will be reflected in final asking price
