i always mak the last step of course tac rag but before it helps alot to take a green kitchen srubby with alot of dawn dishsoap and wash it all downGee, I call that a run
I dry sanded; really reluctant to wet sand...may never dry; yes, it's over 90 deg in the garage, but the rel humidity is also over 90 !
Rather than tack rag, I used clean linen material & air blow; wipe & blow, blow while wipe....
The 'matte' ( orange peel) isn't too bothersome; it was the 'draw back' (fish eyes?) where the paint drew away from a spot (actually, a few spots here & there..... ), that bugged me. I think I transferred a contaminant from my hands (or sand paper) to the primer....shouldn't be oil in the air line (diaphragm pump); shouldn't be water, have moisture trap....
Thanks to yall and the dude's at the paint store, have an approach to ten to the fisheyes....now, when I have the time, I'll give it another go...
