How hard is it to get OME 2.5 heavies in without a spring compressor? I'm pretty sure I can get the stockers out, but not sure if I can stuff the OMEs in there w/out compressing them. I've read SLEE's writeup. Almost sounds too easy.

second that. Installed mine without a problem.

easy, I put Slee 4" plus spacers in without a compressor...

here's a hint; let the whole front axle droop, don't try and force once side up and not the other...worked good for me.

Good deal. I'll get on it this week after the nuts/bolts have a few days to soak up the PB Blaster. Thanks again. :)

Are the Slee sway bar spacers necessary?

For the basic OME Lift - no. Not even for the heavy.

Maybe with the J-springs, I'm not sure. And probably if you add the spacers.

I have the basic 2.5 heavy with just what came with the kit.

Good deal. I didn't get the kit, but wondered if Slee included them with it. Did you put the CC bushings in? I have them, but don't plan on putting them in right away. I want to see how it drives once I have the rack, ladder and sliders and other heavy bits on first. :)

Yeah, I had the 80 in the garage and ran the arms to Christo to push the casters in. He has a jig and it takes maybe all of 10 minutes to do.

It's in. I'll post some pics in a couple days. I'm sitting 3" higher in front and 4" in the rear. The PS front is sitting just over 1/8" higher than the rest. No idea why. Time for bigger tires. Thanks for all the help. :)
