Wanted 1st gen Toyota Tacoma TRD 5 speed

I'm on the hunt for a clean '98-'04 3.4 V6 5 speed Tacoma Xtra cab TRD with low km's...prefer under 160k (100k miles) depending on the year and price but the lower, the better. Prefer accident free. High quality upgrades would be an asset, ie suspension lift, bumpers, etc. I'm willing to pay up for the right truck.

I'm looking to find something in BC or Alberta but would consider a US truck somewhere in the North West.

Earlier Tacomas (98-00) were available with the 4 cylinder, and yes TRD and 5 speed. FYI if you were looking for 3.4's only.

Good luck finding one......Toyota purchased most of the Tacoma's back due to frame rust, at least on the east coast.

They are all over WA state. Problem is that many aren't for sale. I will keep my eyes open for you.
You could also check out TTORA forum. I think I saw a black one for sale on that forum.

With respect to the rusty frame buy-back...I think that was mostly the case in area's that use a lot of road salt. I've got my eye on a clean '04 at the moment...frame was inspected by Toyota, cleaned and painted. It now has a 15 year frame warranty.
