Does anyone have an 1PZ injector pump for sale? Doesn't have to be rebuilt but must be rebuild-able and/or can be used as a core.

22100-18040 is the P/N I am looking for but also open to other P/Ns. Just let me know what you have if you are willing to sell yours and the price.

That is what I was told.

This is a reputable local business that has done injectors and pumps rebuilds for other mud members too with no complaints I know of.

The one on cruiserparts isn’t the right one for me plus I am not sure I would buy from them anyways. Who knows if that pump is any good?

There is one on Cruiserparts.net (shudder) but it seems like a good deal and has the boost/HAC compensator assy....
Is yours just too roached to rebuild?

You better get that one yourself. Cruiserparts gave me the P/N for that one during my search for a replacement pump and it is for a PZJ75 when you look up the P/N. ENS Industrial has the same exact pump supposedly for $7,100. Too rich for me.

For 7100$ you buy another PZ .....or 2 ;-)

Must be super roached to not be rebuildable.

I have had some pretty hashed IP's rebuilt. Only ever seen one past rebuilding and it had sat out in the weather for years.

Sometimes shops say it can't be fixed because they don't know where to get parts. You sure that is not the case here? If it came out of a running truck hard to imagine it can't be rebuilt.

Only a couple parts for it are NLA. Highly unlikely but is your case cracked?

I am showing $2500-3300 for new IP from Toyota, although not in stock and I don't know if available. 1PZ was put in forklifts so that can be a source too.

Cheers

I agree with you that the shop most likely rejected the repair due to the difficulty of getting parts for a such obscure Denso IP.

If you can find a new IP - (P/N: 22100-18040) brand new for ~$3,300 then I gotta say you got very lucky.

Early in my hunt for a IP...I tried a couple of online parts sources only for my order to be rejected due to NLA and get my money refunded back to me.

I just wanted to add that I no longer need an IP.

I have a rebuilt unit on the way from Denso Japan directly which involved me shipping my old one to Japan as a core. It was a last resort option for me. Best part about this one is that it is an exact P/N match.

I also have a take off unit that a kind ih8mud member (who shall remain nameless unless he wants me to mention him) managed to find for me on the way as well. There are 8..maybe more different P/Ns of IP for the 1PZ and this one was one of the next closest matches so I couldn't pass up the deal on it. Another part for my parts stash.

Not sure which is going to come first or which one I will use but I am being patient.

I didn't say I could buy it, I said it is still showing in the Toyota system and not as NLA. Yes for $2500-3,300 depending on which one.

I have imported several IP's from Europe, in my Nissan Patrol days. I then bought a Scout SD33 IP. I bought the parts I knew would need changing in an IP rebuild directly from Japan. I then took x3 pumps to the injection shop and got one very nice and completely rebuilt IP with OEM parts. This stuff is all much more rare and hard to find than Toyota stuff. So I was wondering why you were having trouble. Plus, all the parts like I say to do a full rebuild, minus 2-3, are still available from Toyota and in-stock on the shelf.

Glad to hear you got your IP all sorted!

Cheers

It is NLA as an new item. Trust me on that. Consider any new one laying around an unicorn part.

I do get that individual parts are available but that should be the shop’s job to order them, not mine. I am not the one rebuilding it nor do I have the experience to perform that.

The parts sites lie about them being in stock (and continue to do so by not changing the status even after they tell me “oops, sorry” and refund my money). It is really fun having $3k tied up in PayPal transactions. I was able to find the two by interacting with actual humans and not those online parts sites.

Pressure is on now Matt,I will try to be the first one to drop that IP on your doorstep ;-)

To be clear, you had to send in your old injector pump as a core deposit?

If you deal with Denso Japan, that is how they roll.

Yeah...it wasn't my first choice to go that route. I have had to do a lot of research on these pumps to find what will work best for me too.

There really isn't any difference between say non-ACSD models 22100-18010 or 22100-18020 other than the fact that one goes on the LX model and the other one doesn't. Same can be said for the ACSD models 22100-18030 and 22100-18040. All four P/N's I just listed are for the 1990 -1991 JDM PZJ70 only.

LOL thank you Joe. You are the man.

I should have asked you way in the beginning of my search. Would have saved me a lot of headache.
