Wanted 1PZ Head

The head for my 1PZ is cracked so I'm in search of a take off head from another engine. I know this is not something many people would have lying around and the 1PZ is rare, so I'd be willing to buy the full engine if necessary for the right price. Anybody have a head or a parts 1PZ that could be a donor?

Yep. 1PZ is a great engine but damn.....you are screwed if anything 1PZ specific breaks. Good luck.

Cant help but wonder if a 1HZ head can be cut down to 1PZ size. lol

The 1PZ was a stop gap motor only produced as a bridge. There’s not a lot of support. Unless you can find a head on Partsouq, eBay, or hanging out in Yemen, adding an extra cylinder really might be beneficial in the long run.

If only I could go back in time and forsee all the complications that have come with this 1PZ rebuild… I would have gone the 1HZ route for sure… Unfortunately at this point I’m too deep in it to turn back until I’ve exhausted all my options.
