Just thought i would let you know how it went.
For future reference and any one searching this topic. CHANGE THE WIRING HARNESS. I checked out all the plugs, and locations of components and their would be ALOT of work to convert the HZJ to the HJ , plus no garuntee you get it right. Me and a mate started dismantling the two cars dashes yesterday at 2:30pm and had the new harness (old HJ) harness in and a fair bit of the dash by 6pm. The rest of the dash should go in tonight in a couple of hours. Was really quiet simple.
Thanks for all the advice guys! I will get some posts up on my build thread this week on how we fitted the PTO winch with the extractors and other bits and pieces.
