1hz turbo conversion on a budget??

Hi people, I am interested in giving my old bus a boost, any suggestions for a turbo/turbo kit (I have a fair bit of metalworking knowledge so can make up pipes, flanges, as associated bits) on a pretty tight budget.

it can be done.
Your greatest challenge is getting a suitable turbo for a cheap price.

DIY manifold or buying an adapter plate.
I can try and help, I turbo'd my 77 and I realized everywhere I could save money.
