seriously you two should contact graeme and get him to make you two turbos. They will blow the 2860s out of the water.

But don't you have to supply him a turbo anyway? Why are his turbos so good?

Any ideas of a rough price on them, and are they just the Toyota ones done up?

well if there is a better option then go for it.

in my opinion CT26 are to big, good top end but you want turbo to start spooling pretty much as you accelerate and all the way upto gear change, your only reving till about 3000-3500rpm or so in normal driving. gtx2860 is a T2 so its a smaller turbo, im in the making of making a 6 boost manifold and will be running this turbo, if you still havent decided ill get a video and dyno papers. im paying about 1400 for the turbo including acuator .64 rear housing.. but i think they retail 2000-2300 if i remember correctly. anyway late for work now!

Have you read what Graeme does with his CT26 upgrades and the results ? They spool up MUCH faster than stock and boost much higher too. The one I have hits ~20psi at ~2000rpm on a 3.4L diesel.

Keep us posted on how the GTX2860 goes, what boost are you going to be running? Hopefully they are going to be more reliable than the GT28series that alot of guys currently run.

As John mentioned earlier I also recommend a boost comp - I run 10lbs without the intercooler (water/air being installed later) and i can hammer the throttle with no smoke at all.

have fun with it! I usually run 15 pounds with the intercooler.
