Was taking my FJ80 our for first long drive. After about 500km driven after overtaking a truck, speed up to 130kmh around 3000 rpm this strange knocking started from the head top. It stays there when reving up and increase in speed as revs do.

Engin has previously been rebuilt about 5000km ago. Oil pressure and temp seems fine. No serious leaks.

I continued to drive and after a while disappeared only to come back again. Was about 60km to our overnight spot.

Any advice please.

Does it do it at idle?

Do you have any tools with you?

Try and identify where in the engine the knock is coming from.
Sounds too heavy/ solid to be from the head.

Probably not advisable to continue driving. Particularly if you are planning to go anywhere remote.

If you have a long pry bar, long screwdriver, or long extension bar, you can use one of these to 'listen' to the engine internals.

Wrap your fist around the end of the bar, thumb to the top end of the tool. Touch the other end of the bar to various parts of the running engine, and place your ear onto your thumb/ fist. The bar will amplify noise.

be aware of moving parts, and tools, hands etc
Touch the bar on the head and listen. Move the bar along the head, listen to each piston/ valve set in turn.
Crawl under the car and touch the bar onto different parts of the block, roughly at each piston, and listen.

You'll hear a range of noises. Tapping, whirring, ticking etc. You're listening for anything that sounds odd or different from one piston area to another. You should hear consistent, rhythmical sounds at each piston

You'll be able to hear if the noise is in the block, or in the head
