1HZ non turbo exhaust question (1 Viewer)

The stock exhaust on my HZJ77 is pretty much bone silent. I'm not looking for a lot of noise but I would like to hear it a little. What have other guys done with their exhaust?

I can't help you on the exhaust as I left mine stock. Was your previous LJ78 louder?

On my LJ78 I went with a 3" exhaust and no muffler. The turbo kept it from being too loud, it was perfect.

You will probably need a muffler-louder one- or resonator(?) because without one of these the drone at hey speeds will be bad, at least to me.

Wait until the muffler is dead and replace it with a sports type muffler. I dont know anyone who wants to listen to a 1HZ on a long trip
