1hz into 1985 fj75

G'day does anybody know if it's an easy conversion to put a1hz into 1985 fj 75 series? Are diff ratios the same? Would it be easier to fit a 2h instead?

You'll need the appropriate transmission and bellhousing (and related parts), the input shaft is longer on the 1HZ and is 21 spline.

Diff gears don't affect the engine choice really. And, yes, they were both supplied with 4.11s from the factory.

The 2H and 1HZ are quite different in how they behave, each has good points and less good points.

I personally way prefer the inline injection pump of the 2H, however the 1HZ is more powerful, revs higher and is smoother / quieter.
