1hz injector timing gear removal

I've tried and puller and it's snapped two bolts, the injector pump is loose on the back end but won't come out.
Anyone get any recommendations on how to free it up so it can come off, it's the last part of removing my injector pump

they can be super tight. use thicker/bigger washers on your bolts. tap on the forcing screw, and it might pop loose. If it doesn't then heat up the gear with a torch.

Does heating it up damage the gear or seals behind it?

depends on how hot you get it. The engines get up to 200f under normal conditions. The seal is cheap.

When you've got a lot of force on the puller, bonk the gear a bit with a steel hammer.

I had the same issue with it being stuck as I was slowly adding more force on the puller via a breaker bar. After a while I had enough waiting and just got the pneumatic impact gun on it, came free right away.

So like others have said either get some tension and wack it with a hammer or try an pneumatic impact gun.
