Hi there lads. New on this forum, from Denmark.
I have a Landcruiser HZJ75 with the 4,2 1HZ engine. have just hydro assisted it, and was wondering if, it is possible to get a "stock" gear driven vanepump, with higher flow than the original one the 1HZ is born with? Looks like some of the newer Prado models have som similar pumps, but i dont know if they have higher flow. Or do i need to go with a PSC belt driven pump? Thank you in advance.

Attached a pic for the fun of it

With the hydro assist steering on my HZJ73 I went trough 3 oem pumps before I upgraded to a PSC pump and I should have done that immediatly . I used a AC bracket with a adapter plate to mount the pump on the 1HZ . I recently retired that HZJ73 and have the pump and bracket for sale if you want , it made a big difference over the oem pump

Thank you for the reply. How big is your piston rod and bore on the assist cylinder? Ive got and 25 mm piston rod and 40 mm bore, might be to big for the oem pump?

I don't have the piston anymore , I parted out that cruiser but kept the ps pump and bracket
