1hz 105 Lockers

Hi

I have 1999 LC 105 fitted with 1HZ non turbo engine. Manual transmission. I'd like to fit it with some kind of a rear locker but not ARB as they are way too expensive.

Any suggesstions? brands? websites? that sell lockers for 105?

Hi All:

Besides the ARB Air Locker you could try to find a used Toyota e-locker third member.

I don't know, but perhaps the "Lokka" locker in Australia (a copy of the Lockrite) has a version for the Land Cruiser 100/105 Series?

X2 on the OEM lockers. Is your vehicle permanent 4WD or partime? Be sure to disengage ABS when using lockers...

Air lockers are the best of both worlds, if you have the full time 4wd version of the 105 series then using a mechanical locker, like the Lock-rite etc will cause major hassles without doing a free wheeling hub conversion on the front of your vehicle.

An ARB air locker or the TJM Pro Locker will play nicely and really make things easier for you. Remember, do it once, do it properly.
