1hdt - slouchy performance & Low egts (1 Viewer)

Hey guys,

My HDJ 1hdt was out of commission for a little over a year while sourcing and installing a new transmission. Now it’s back together it’s running a bit sluggish like it’s not getting enough fuel. After I got her running a ran Standyne tnrough the tank and ran a can of Seafoam tnrough the new fuel filter i Installed

Prior it had a Wholesale auto torque converter and valve body which felt night and day compared to going back stock.

I also have a trundles fuel pin and boost cap installed along with a gturbo red wheel, snorkel and airbox. The kickdown cable took a bit to get adjusted after the trans went in but it’s about dialed now.

I pulled the fuel pin and it’s getting full travel (I may mark it with a paint pin and recheck to see if it’s still moving the full length of the ramp. The cap screw is nearly turned all the way down as well. I’m seeing the full 18# of boost but even on a full throttle incline I’m only seeing 900-950f egts. Seems a bit off. I’ve also cleaned the in tank pickup filter.

What am I overlooking here?

Pump and injectors haven’t been touched to my knowledge. 240k on the odometer I know it’s about time.

And TBH I forgot about that it’s been so long. I’ll mess with that in the morning and report back. I’ve only been adjusting the boost compensator
