Is the ac pulley an additional vibration damper. Im not gonna run an ac system, and I could use the additional space for my cooling system fan by completely removing the lower pulley.
Thoughts
Thanks in advance for any help ...

Sorry this is for 1hdt engine

I cant see it being a problem. The aircon and crank pulley pulley/dampener are the same as a 1HZ , not all 1HZ have aircon. So they simply come with a single crank pulley/dampener.
The turbo model Yanmar marine diesels are also based on the 1HD T 1HD FT and do not have aircon pulley.

Thanks for getting back so soon .
That's what I was hoping.
I assumed not all 1hdt motors were equipped with a/c
Thanks again Tommy

Im not sure about that. I could imagine the Finnish or Vladivostok dealers not bothering to add it to the order.
