1HDFT Injection Pump Vacuum Actuator?? (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

Been trying to figure out what this vacuum actuator is on the back side of the 1HDFT injection pump, can anyone shed some light? (Have looked at the manual and parts websites, but only getting generic names for it).

That controls the SICS. I just removed my actuator and wind in the adjuster to keep the SICS lever at the full fueling position

Excellent, thanks mate... points me in the right direction. Have you noticed any side effects since making that change?

The only thing the SICS did was reduce fueling on startup. It reduces that puff of black smoke you get on first start up which is the characteristics of a VE injector pump due to the way the governor and fly weights work, it actually provides more fueling on startup then what WOT does. It has no effect on any other areas other then start up
