I have a 1-HDT Injection Pump that was pulled from a running truck... (Engine had a crack in the #5 Cylinder I believe)

It is used but clean, can provide photos to anyone interested.

It is being sold AS IS, no exceptions.

Asking 950 USD.

Do you know if this can be used on an HZ with a turbo?
 
Do not quote me on it but apparently you can, I have never tried myself or have seen anyone do it.

It does obviously have a boost compensator on it that would match with the turbo on the HZ

You will at the very least need adaptors, as the injection lines on the 1HZ attach to the pump with 14mm nuts, and on the 1HDT with 17mm. Also, it will need calibration for the 1HZ injectors, which have different pressure and injection volume (10 mm plunger vs. 12 mm plunger) than the 1HDT (indirect vs direct system).
I am not saying it can't be done, but it is not plug and play.
 
you just beat me to saying that.
The delivery valves are different sizes.
You will be able to swap over your 1hz ones to this pump.
It can work, just will take a few changes.
Regardless you get a rebuild on a used pump.
 
@Jan-78FJ40 and @ForealBoreal That's what I needed to know. I was looking at the options if I wanted to hold off on rebuilding my HZ pump, but since i would essentially be rebuilding the HDT one I should just work with what I have. Thanks for the quick response!

If its off a runner and you and foreal are close friends Looks like foreal should use this as a loner while his is down for a month minimum. Then you could ask a couple hundred more for a verified runner. Win win win.
 
Did this sell? Are you also selling the injectors?
