1HD-FTE in HZJ79

I have got a crashed 2001 amazon 4.2 fte auto, so I am hoping (sorry) I mean I'm GOING to fit this beast into the 78 series by January 2017
just looking for some info on the install etc ... as I'm going bring autobox/tranny along too

Really?! 300,000KM isn't that bad for a diesel engine, especially a 1HZ. Unless it's been poorly maintained, I would believe that engine would have a lot of life left in it and worth rebuilding.

Are you purchasing a full donor rig, or just the engine/components? The only big issue I could see with only purchasing the engine is not having the proper electrical to go with it; unless of course you have a background in automotive electrical systems.

Do you have any photos of your LC? Where are you located?

My 75 series with 1 Hz in it has done 675.000 kms. Now in process of putting in 1hd fte
