1fz-fe short block anywhere??

Hey all,

Looking for an update on the most current order of a new short block assembly. How’d it go? Where did you order yours from? I’ve had a similar back and forth with my local Toyota dealership. Any info would be appreciated!

I can sell you a rebuilt one for cheeper if you are ever interested in a rebuilt with all Toyota parts. I have bought a short block from my local Toyota dealer in Portland Oregon and I must say it was pretty sweet seeing that big chunk of iron brand new. If your not in a huge hurry sometimes different dealers do 20% off and that can save you some big coin. Here’s a couple pics.

Does the 11400-66041 / short block come with the Timing cover, oil pump, oil pump cover?
What all is included with the short block?

Nope.

You get a short block with bearings and crank and oil gallies. Only thing it comes with for the oil pump is the bushing.

I bolt them to a pallet and build a crate around them. Shipping can vary depending on who you use, last one I shipped to Colorado was $650 ish. I use Uship and they give you all the shippers and cost I never go with the unknown lowest bidder have had issues in the past, i choose a well know company and they actually keep a schedule. Pics of the last one I shipped last week.
