1FZ-FE Engine with 276k miles. Will be removed from my ‘97 LX450 in December, available for test drive now if interested. $1500.

I have a great video of a cold start/running, PM if you would like that.

Condition:
Engine runs good, no CEL lights. I add 1 quart of oil to it every 1,500 miles. I have not had to add any coolant to it since it was last changed at 253k miles. No oil leaks other than occasional dampness from the rear main seal, but it has never dripped a drop from the rear main since I bought it.

Documented History:
Original engine to the vehicle. I purchased in 2022 with 248k miles.
  • rear and front main seals replaced. Upper/lower oil pans resealed (2014)
  • Alternator idler replaced (253k miles)
  • Cooling system overhaul to include new radiator, OEM thermostat, Aisin water pump, new fan clutch, new heater valve, all new rubber coolant hoses, engine coolant flushed and replaced with Valvoline Asian Pink Coolant (7/25/22-7/27/22, 254k miles)
  • Replaced valve cover seal with OEM part and resealed half moons with Toyota 103 FIPG. Replaced spark plugs with new OEM plugs. Replaced PCV valve and grommet. (9/21/22 - 9/22/22, 255k miles)
  • Consistent 3-4K mile oil change intervals with shell rotella T5 15W-40 oil since I purchased the vehicle.
  • It appears to be the original head gasket

Engine will come with the following accessories:
  • exhaust manifolds
  • Upper and lower oil pans
  • Valve cover
  • Crankshaft pulley
  • Water pump (only has 21k miles on it)
  • Engine mounts
Used engine wiring harness in good shape is also available for purchase.

I’m also willing to separate the shortblock and cylinder head if you only want the shortblock.

No kidding! Drive it, hop on the highway, get it up to temp, and check for leaks after. Hard to be disappointed or surprised after purchase. Hopefully it can go to good use.

Is this still available?
