Hi guys…I am looking to sell my 1999 Toyota Landcruiser.
1999
284,000
Center and Rear Lockers
She is originally from MO. I bought her at 235,000 miles and have had her for 4 years in WI. The body is completely rust free and there is minimal undercarriage rust.
Everything I have done since owning it..
My mechanic went through it and replaced absolutely everything that had any wear. Always genuine Toyota Products. I never went the cheap route.
New Hoses
New radiator
New timing belt and water pump at 277,000
New Spark plugs
New driver seat leather with original Toyota leather
New fan clutch bearing and housing
New fuel filter
New Windshield (original Toyota winshield with the proper factory tint. It was super hard to find!)
Always used Mobil 1 synthetic at regular intervals.
Both front and rear brakes have been replaced since ownership.
Tires have roughly a 1/3 of life left, BFG Long Trail. Full size Michelin LTX for a spare.
Aftermarket CarPlay and Android Auto Stereo with Bluetooth and USB.
I like to keep my vehicles very clean. I carpet shampoo and wax the vehicle every summer and wash is consistently in winter.
A few things to mention are the rear windows can be very slow to roll up. The door locks can have a hard time completely engaging and may have to require the key to manually unlock/lock doors. I have never been locked out but the Soleniods seem like they are tired. It hasn’t bothered me enough to replace them. I also have new 4pin trailer wiring that will go with her just not installed yet. The factory wiring had a recall.
She is not perfect but I would say very good condition for her age. I ultimately am looking to sell so I can upgrade to the 200 series but I’m open to offers and possible trades for an equivalent Tacoma or 4Runner.
Thanks for looking!
